The Koban stamps were replaced by the Chrysanthenum series starting in 1899
and the comb type cancellations were introduced in 1905 only. Nevertheless the
comb cancel can be found on Koban stamps and especially on the Koban foreign
mail postcards. The 1898 issue of the 4 Sen foreign mail postcard FC12 and the 4
+ 4 Sen reply card FC13 was not replaced until 1912.
I am not actively searching for comb cancellations since they are not typical
for the Koban era, but if one comes along I am happy to add it. If you have a
spare one I am missing, please let me know
